I was getting so frustrated feeling like I was doing everything WRONG because I am not hopping on the yeast free, gluten free, carb free whatever free diet.... So I got back to basics. My family is German and none of them are overweight. Basically, they eat slow, don't mindlessly snack, quality over quantity, and don't stuff their faces on the run. I bought a book on amazon that basically discusses these things too called French Women Don't Get Fat and I really feel like for me eating balanced, quality unprocessed meals and learning to slow it down and truly enjoy my food is key. AND exercise of course. Good luck in your endeavors, everyone has to find their own balance I think! :)Brandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03757161262496641777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4371908546329091792.post-59430869709940400812013-02-20T14:59:27.152-06:002013-02-20T14:59:27.152-06:00Get it girl! Then I don't feel so bad if I don't cook or I go to a happy hour (or two!).Amy Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01618126858082003356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4371908546329091792.post-28052546617742386642013-02-20T14:10:21.214-06:002013-02-20T14:10:21.214-06:00I love this. you're inspiring me now :)... got... I feel so bad ...I agree...there is a middle ground. I feel so bad for friends on strict diets...they get no joy out of going out or even cooking. It makes me sad. On the flip side, I sometimes have to convince myself that mac & cheese will only temporarily make me feel better and will prob make me feel worse in the long run. It's tough! :)

Jill
Classy with a Kick
Jill J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04334309645700858081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4371908546329091792.post-10230973196657122992013-02-20T11:53:19.153-06:002013-02-20T11:53:19.153-06:00I just heard about this 80/20 thing yesterday!
